Provide the Receipt from the Bottom of the VDR Application

Hello, VDRs! We have been receiving so many applications heading into the last month before Deadline Day.


It is true Travis County does not have receipt books and receipt numbers; however, you must give the receipt to the applicant. Please make sure you are providing receipts moving forward if you have not been already.

  • Complete the name of the applicant and your name and signature.

  • Either draw a line or write "NA." in the Receipt No. field

  • Provide your VDR number in the Deputy No. field.

  • Tear the bottom section of the application at the dotted line above where it says "Registration Receipt."

  • Give the receipt to the applicant.


We give the receipt to the applicant as their proof of registration before their card comes in the mail. We recommend the applicant keep the receipt until they receive the card in the mail.
